Resolving Issues with Touch
Issue:
You can’t write or touch in certain areas of the interactive whiteboard.
There is dropped or intermittent ink/touch when using the pen or your finger.
Solutions:
- Remove any artwork, pieces of paper, or other decorations that have been attached to the sides of the interactive whiteboard. They could be interfering with the camera views.
- Check the reflective tape along the frames for damage and clean it to remove buildup and debris. This is best done with a clean, dry microfiber cloth.
Caution:
- Some solvent-based cleaners can damage the reflective tape.
- Abrasive cleaning materials can damage all parts of the interactive whiteboard.
- Calibrate the interactive whiteboard.
- Orient the interactive whiteboard.
- Update to the latest firmware.
- Update to the latest SMART Product Drivers (if applicable)
- Try connecting a different computer (ideally one that is working in a similar setup).
